A medical student by the name of Kychelle Del Rosario is currently on leave from the ironically named Wake Forest School of Medicine after a tweet that she sent out a couple of weeks ago. Check this fun little missive out: She says, “I had a patient I was doing a blood draw on see my pronoun pin and loudly laugh to the staff. ‘She/Her? Well, of course it is! What other pronouns even are there? It?’ I missed his vein, so he had to get stuck twice.” And then she put what appears to be a nose-blowing emoji. Is this what we want from our doctors?
