Dr. W. Ian Lipkin is the Director of the Center for Infection & Immunity at Columbia. He’s an expert on infectious diseases and has been studying COVID 19 since the virus first entered our spheres. But despite new theories that the pandemic began with a lab leak in Wuhan, China, Dr. Lipkin says we don’t know much more about the COVID origin than we did a year ago, when he and Glenn first spoke. So, Glenn asks, how can ordinary Americans trust COVID scientists and experts when so many of them are entangled in the world of money and politics? Is there a conflict of interest when investigating the virus' origin story?
