Need to move seven people with electric power alone? No space for an intercity train on your driveway? Then you might fancy a look inside the biggest, most expensive Kia of all time: the new EV9. This absolute unit of a family SUV has all the usual stuff: big screen, big torque, hot-hatch troubling acceleration and lots of annoying driver ‘assist’ tech, but it’s what it’s made out of (recycled plastic, fishing nets and even sawdust) that Kia thinks will give its huge flagship an eco selling point, and allow it to steal customers from the Range Rover Sport, Tesla Model X, and Volvo’s new EX90.
