Are we seeing the end of the Methodist Church? The United Methodist Church has repealed the ban on LGBT clergy, marking the end of anti-LGBT policies, according to the mainstream media. The United Methodist Church had its conference where members voted 692-51 to remove the rule forbidding “self-avowed practicing homosexuals” from being ordained or appointed. This vote doesn’t MANDATE or AFFIRM homosexual clergy members, but the church no longer forbids them. Is this the right call?
