Jeff DeWit, the Chair of the Republican Party in Arizona, has resigned after a recorded conversation between him and Kari Lake was released in which Dewit attempts to convince Lake not to run for Senate in 2024. DeWit claims there are "Powerful People" who are "Back East" who do not want Lake to run which raises serious questions about the dynamics of the Republican Party at the national level and who the key individuals are that are pulling the strings around the country.
