Maj. Gen. Ed Thomas has warned that, “Our ‘qualified and waiting’ list is about half of what it has been historically." The Air Force and other branches are screening recruits for “extremism” and for the unvaccinated and are focused above all else on increasing their diversity quotas. The Air Force is less interested in recruiting in the South and bemoans the fact that 86% of Air Force aviators are white men. And those are exactly the people the Air Force brass no longer wants.
